Artists for the Barnes: Ron Martin
Ron Martin is one of our members and a
former Barnes student.
He is offering two 18" x 24" offset lithographic reproductions of paintings
from 1999 done when he was studying at the Barnes with Barton Church.
One is a figurative piece derived from a photo taken in the
Metropolitan museum contemporary gallery titled Hanging at the Met.
The other is a loosely representational piece inspired by a pile of
folding chairs titled Composition 99. The original edition of 190 is
exhausted, but he has three artist's proofs of each available.
They
come with a handsome accompanying COA for authentication. The entire
price will be donated to the Friends.
